At Spetrum Racing Model Shop, we’re committed to delivering premium RC products with the same performance excellence you expect from your hobby-grade vehicles. Our streamlined shipping and returns processes ensure you can focus on what matters – enjoying your RC experience.

Shipping Information

Order Processing & Delivery Timelines

  • Order Processing: 1-2 business days
  • Standard Shipping: Via DHL or FedEx (10-15 business days after shipping) – $12.95
  • Free Shipping: Via EMS for orders over $50 (15-25 business days after shipping)

We ship globally (excluding some Asian regions and remote areas). Tracking information will be emailed once your order ships.

Returns & Exchanges

We stand behind our products with a 15-day return policy for most items. Here’s how it works:

Eligibility Requirements

  • Item must be unused and in original packaging
  • All components and manuals must be included
  • Proof of purchase is required
  • Must be requested within 15 days of delivery

Non-Returnable Items

Due to their specialized nature, these items cannot be returned unless defective:

  • RC Batteries (lithium polymer/polymer packs)
  • Ready to Fly Electric Airplanes (unless damaged in transit)
  • Opened maintenance fluids or adhesives
  • Custom-ordered parts

Return Process

Step 1: Initiate Your Return

Email our support team at [email protected] with:

  • Your order number
  • Item(s) being returned
  • Reason for return
  • Whether you prefer refund or exchange

Step 2: Receive Authorization

Within 1-2 business days, we’ll email you with:

  • Return authorization number (RMA)
  • Shipping instructions
  • Our Alaska warehouse return address

Step 3: Ship Your Return

Package the item securely with the RMA number clearly visible. We recommend:

  • Using tracked shipping (we’re not responsible for lost returns)
  • Insuring high-value items ($100+)
  • Including all original packaging and accessories

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Timing: Refunds process within 3-5 business days after inspection
  • Method: Funds return to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, PayPal)
  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

Exchange Process

  • For exchanges of equal value: We’ll ship your replacement once the return is received
  • For higher-value exchanges: You’ll pay the difference after return credit is applied
  • Exchanges ship via your original shipping method

Damaged or Defective Items

If your premium RC component (Vanquish Products, Traxxas TRX series, etc.) arrives damaged or defective:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Include photos of the damage/defect
  • We’ll typically send a replacement immediately (no return required for low-cost items)

International Returns Note

For customers outside the U.S.:

  • You’re responsible for return shipping costs and any customs fees
  • Refunds exclude original international shipping charges
  • Consider using DHL/FedEx for faster customs clearance
